Women for Women

Women for Women by IPRAS is a charity programme that aims to supply help by female surgeons for female patients in mostly third world countries. In various parts of the world, female patients suffer from disfiguring and socially excluding sequel of trauma that often occurs out of ethnical or social traditions or typical environmental conditions that women in several countries are subjected to. The intent of the Women for Women by IPRAS programme is for patients to be treated in their countries by international women surgeons in local hospitals and medical units in cooperation with local surgeons and medical staff.
